Although it can be difficult to find free time, some of the hobbies I enjoy include photography, snowboarding, guitar and piano, building/repairing computers and electronics, working on cars, and financial literature.

About Me

Participating in various organizations both on- and off-campus has always been a priority. I enjoy taking on leadership roles, some of which include President, Vice-President, Public Relationships Officer, and Historian. Other organizations I actively participate in include: Kappa Pi Beta Fraternity, Inc., Finance and Investment Group, Asian-American Students in Alliance, Vietnamese Student Association, and Korean Student Association. I have acquired military experience and funded my college tuition through Army ROTC. The Army has provided me with lifelong skills in leadership, management, planning, patience, discipline, and teaching. I am also actively involved in church having served the Elementary Children's Department as a Bible study teacher and currently serving the praise team as the bass guitar player.

I graduated from the chicago">University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. I was the sole finance tutor for the College of Business at UIC for the last three consecutive semesters of my college career. I tutor because I am passionate about helping others succeed. Making a difference and helping others succeed, to me, is invaluable. I currently work full-time as a Stockbroker at Scottrade, Inc. with active FINRA licenses including the Series 7 and 63.

Many agree that in the military, some of the best officers are bred from those who began their journey as an enlisted soldier. They started from the ground up; therefore, these select officers have a genuine and true understanding of exactly what it takes to lead the same team of enlisted soldiers in which they were once apart of. I have been in your shoes before. There has been more than one time in my academic career, where without someone to provide me with the tools and guidance I so desperately needed, I would have inevitably failed.
