I like weightlifting and playing pick up basketball at the gym. I love small animal pets- I used to own a parakeet and currently own two pet rats. I also like to cook- I usually make my own meals 95% of the time and am always trying out new recipes.

About Me

I grew up in orange">Orange County and moved to the Bay Area to begin my college education. I recently graduated from UC Berkeley and am taking a year off to apply to medical school for the following year. My desire is to one day become primary care physician.

I started privately tutoring as a junior in high school for pre-algebra, pre-calculus, biology, and chemistry. At UC Berkeley, I have over 8 semesters cumulative of drop-in, private, and small group chemistry tutoring experience. Over this past summer, I have been doing drop-in tutoring for summer school at UC Berkeley and tutoring pre-calculus and chemistry for new incoming freshmen.

Each student has a different background and learning style so it is important to tailor my approach to each student. However, I believe that every student has unlimited potential and my job as a tutor is merely to help guide them towards reaching that potential. My approach often involves asking lots of questions that help lead them towards solving the problem on their own, as well as making sure that they get a good grasp of the fundamentals.
