I strongly believe that the learning process does not have to be boring or follow a certain pattern; as a tutor I find what the student is more interested in and I try to incorporate it in the learning process. This way the student will be learning and he/she will not feel pressure from my side.

About Me

I am a college student in Miami Dade College, my major is engineering, my main goal is to get my BA in Nuclear Engineering I would like to complete my BA at University of Florida. I am a really aproachable and positive guy. I enjoy helping people; that is the main reason I do this job.I love math and science and as a tutor I like to find the positive side of the subject so the student get interested. This makes the learning process more effective.

I have been working for Miami Dade College as a Math tutor. During the time I have been working there I have learned a lot from my coworkers who have more experience than I do, but I also have learned from students. I have dealt with a huge spectrum of personalities. I think this job has trained me to be a better tutor.

Even though I am always smiling I take my job seriously and I know what are my goals and I have my methods to achieve them. I like my students to know, as long as they are learning and growing as students everything will be fine. I put 100% of my effort in order to help my students. I like to test my students in the first session so I can know what areas they need improvement in and work with them on it. Communicating with the parents and the teachers is really important for me. I believe that there is nothing reachable without communication.
