Fun Facts

I am heavily involved with an organization called Camp Kesem. This national non-profit provides free, weeklong summer camps to children who have been affected by a parent’s cancer. Being able to provide these children a carefree week where they can just be kids has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have been fortunate enough to have.

About Me

I am a Miami native and a third-year at the miami">University of Miami. I am passionate about service and working with children. I have a strong work ethic and am intrinsically motivated to help others succeed. I consider myself an approachable, positive, and levelheaded person. I seek challenging and rewarding experiences and am excited about making a contribution to my community. I believe in being impeccable with your word and leaving people better than you found them. I plan on attending graduate school for speech pathology and one day hope to have my own practice.

I have served as a private miami">tutor to middle school and high school students in the subjects of Mathematics and English. I also tutored Miami-Dade students in Math and Reading for the FCAT. I have also been a Biology workshop leader at the University.

My approach to miami">tutoring is in line with Frog miami">Tutoring’s motto: "Nurturing Hidden Potential." I believe every student has something amazing to offer and it is my role to help give him or her the confidence and skills he/she needs to flourish. Each student has different learning needs so one must adapt his/her approach in order to best help that student.
