Fun Facts

Growing up in Milwaukee, WI as the eldest of 5 girls and the daughter of an elementary teacher, there is no question that education is a part of my make up. This is included, however, by a passion for Wisconsin sports - Go Packers! - and a wishful goal of being Cinderalla in Disney World. I believe that there is nothing more wonderful than family and friendship, and that boredom only comes when you do not surround yourself with the things you love.

About Me

Looking into the future I hope to make a living off of what I love - children, performing, and faith. I believe success to only be measured in happiness, and I intend to give happiness to others in finding it for myself. My greatest aspiration is to raise my own family in the same way I was raised, and be a mentor as well as a mother to my own children. I hope to use up all of the talents I have been given and help others use and find their own talents.

My chicago">tutoring experience began in middle school when I tutored my mother's students. I believe that English and reading-comprehension/illinois/chicago">Reading Comprehension are two of the greatest skills in education a young student can have, and I have been chicago">tutoring the children I nanny in those areas as well. My teaching exprience began when I was an intern at my high school's theatre camp. Presently, I am now the improv instructor and one of the drama teachers and have developed more skills to relate to kids of any age.

My chicago">tutoring approach is very simple: relate personally to the student and relate what they are learning to his/her own life. By creating a relationship with the student and learning about their own lives, I will tailor the subject matter to fit the student in a compatible way. Not only will the lessons be focused and all material will be covered, but the student will enjoy what he/she is learning.
