About Me

I am currently a Biology major attending St. Francis College. I aspire to go to medical school in the Fall of 2014. Not only do I enjoy being a receptacle for knowledge but I also love teaching others. Once a pharmacy student, I transferred to St. Francis in pursuit of a BS in Biology to ultimately grow more as an individual and further develop my passion for the sciences and find myself.

Although I have not served as an official brooklyn">tutor, I have served as an unofficial brooklyn">tutor to my peers upon the recommendation of my professors at St. Francis College. This has truly been a humbling experience and I hope to have the opportunity to continue to help others as well as improve upon the skills I've begun to acquire.

My approach to brooklyn">tutoring is identical to the approach I use to grasp material in the classroom. I master the small concepts followed by mastering questions related to the small concepts. Gradually I expand on the concepts and try to master questions with incorporation of more concepts. Ultimately I work on the most complex problems with all concepts incorporated. I relate this approach to others by breaking down the task whether writing, chemistry, biology, or physics, then by tackling ideas on the most simplistic level I expand until all concepts are covered. Objective being they can tackle a host of problems or assignments because the fundamentals have been mastered.
