My favorite thing to eat is my girlfriend's stewed goat. I like shopping for clothes at Uniqlo and groceries at Fairway. I like to talk sports. I really like listening to Reggaeton music and studying foreign languages.

About Me

I went to GW for two years and then transferred to NYU. I majored in English. My overall GPA is a 3.5. My goal is to be a clinical psychologist. I found I wanted to be a clinical psychologist when I took a course on Personality.

I spent a summer in Peru teaching ESL to Peruvian elementary and middle school students and really enjoyed it. When I got back, I taught SAT prep to high school students in New York City. I like teaching because it's so rewarding to help people get better at things.

When I'm manhattan">tutoring, if possible I ask to look at the student's syllabus so that I can get a sense of what direction we're going to be heading in (that way, as we go along, we can lay the groundwork for whatever is coming up). Then, we get to work. I try to give very clear explanations of the material so that the student knows exactly what's going on. Then, I give them practice problems in order to check their understanding. if there's something they don't understand, I try to zero in on exactly what that is.
