Fun Facts

I love to fence on my spare time, and I dedicate myself to a lab in brooklyn-college">Brooklyn College working on the occurrence of methicillin-resistance Staphylococcus Aureus in the New York City MTA. I have volunteered in hospitals and food pantries, and just recently I have spent a full month as a medical intern in Kenya, where I shadowed physicians as they did their daily rounds.

About Me

All in all, I'm a down to earth queens">tutor who enjoys spending his time volunteering, working in a microbiology lab, and queens">tutoring students. I am friendly, dedicated, and refuse to accept plateaus in my career and academic performance. I have a passion for the sciences, and aspire to one day becoming a surgeon.

Privately, I've tutored a multitude of different students, within a large age and subject range. I've tutored the undergraduate sciences, including Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry to members of brooklyn-college">Brooklyn College, and I've tutored children in grades K-12 in the sciences, math, and language arts. Each one of my students have enjoyed and benefited from my customized lesson plans and love for teaching. Making money comes second to the learning of the students-as a queens">tutor, I've frequently stayed beyond scheduled hours and I communicate with my students via email.

I've also tutored under a contract with 1On1AcademicTutors, which provides queens">tutoring to underprivileged children through the New York State Education Department Supplemental Educational Services program. As a queens">tutor, I've created my own lesson plans, developed my own teaching style, and taught K-12 math and language arts. Measured by pre/post-op student testing, I have demonstrated the ability to significantly improve each student's ability to meet their grade's standards of education. queens">Tutoring allowed me to pass on learning methods I've developed as a struggling student through high school, and has fostered my secondary love of teaching. My time as queens">tutor has taught me how to effectively convey my thoughts to students of all ages.

Overall, I have over three full years of extensive teaching experience.
