Fun Facts

One thing you will quickly learn upon meeting me is I absolutely love basketball! Whenever I get the chance I will play basketball or watch a game! One of my biggest dreams is to travel the world! Everything about traveling is such a wonderful experience! I also absolutely love cooking, even though some of my recipes turn out a little burnt.

About Me

I am a sophomore Early Childhood Education and Intervention major at Capital University. I work extremely hard to keep a high Grade Point Average and it certainly pays off! I plan on graduating in the Spring of 2015 and receive my master’s in Education. My goal is to become an Intervention teacher and someday open a horse farm near an early childhood and intervention school in order for the children to learn through horses.

Throughout high school I tutored children through National Honor’s Society and an organization named Special Kids Therapy. Upon moving to Columbus for college classes, I volunteered my time reading to children at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the waiting area. I have also been actively involved in another organization, columbus">Tutoring by Teachers. These experiences have reassured me that I am entering in the perfect field for myself. Frog columbus">Tutoring is an amazing opportunity for me to reach out and touch the lives of many more children!

I believe children should be eager about learning and should be interested in the information given to them. Therefore, I will create a welcoming columbus">tutoring environment which promotes engaging activities that children enjoy participating in. As a columbus">tutor I will provide positive encouragement to keep the children motivated and fascinated with the subject area.
