Fun Facts

I love to run; I've completed three half marathons and I'm currently training for a marathon. Please ask me how it's going- that will definitely motivate me to continue the training. I also love to travel. This past summer I studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain and then afterward travelled around Italy. I'm a big fan of corny jokes and random history facts.

About Me

I am a junior Strategic Communication and Spanish major with a Psychology minor at TCU. I've recently developed an interest in teaching and secondary or higher education which I plan on researching a lot more this year. I'm not sure exactly what my plans are after college, but I know it will be something involving people and travel, both of which are my passions.

I began tutoring through the National Honor Society in high school. Since coming to college, my experiences have been more so joined study sessions for psychology classes or other random classes in my schedule. I am looking forward to this opportunity to explore my passion for teaching, which may play into a potential future job.

My approach to everything in life, including tutoring, is through humor and making people feel comfortable. If you're in an environment in which you feel like you can express yourself fully and ask questions, you're on the right track to learning. My approach combines comfortability and promoting interest through laughter.
