I used to be a competitive cheerleader for 10 years! I've been all around the country and have won national and world titles. I love to workout and hang out with friends. I also volunteer at Cook Children's Hospital to work with the kids everyone once in a while

About Me

I'm a sophomore Biology major at Texas Christian University. I've been on the Dean's List for two years in a row! After graduation I plan on going to medical school, hopefully in Texas, and possibly want to specialize in Emergency Medicine or Anesthesiology.

I started tutoring sophomore year in high school. At the time I tutored in Geometry and Algebra and I really enjoyed it. I've done many unofficial tutoring sessions as well, helping my friends in my current classes. I currently tutor some girls in my sorority, and I'm very excited to tutor with Frog Tutoring to help younger kids as well!

I've always excelled in math classes and I enjoy learning and teaching it to people. Through every grade in middle and high school I was always the one my friends came to for help. My friends would always tell me that I explained things much easier than the teachers would. I understand how to break things down on much simpler levels and use real world examples to help kids understand the concepts better. When I helped younger kids with math I would always bring M&Ms or some kind of treat that could be used for counting and learning multiplication. I find it best to show the child an example problem, have them work through one with my help, have them work through one on their own if their ready, and then quiz them over the material.
