Vieshnavi loves to travel, see the world and scrapbook her experiences. She envisions herself an amateur foodie who loves to cook and instagram her kitchen adventures. She loves to spend her weekends either exploring new parts of DC or curled up with a hot cup of tea and great book.

About Me

Vieshnavi is currently a Master's candidate in the Conflict Resolution program at georgetown-university">Georgetown University, most interested in political risk assessment and the affect of conflicts in the Middle East on US foreign policy and international security. A recent graduate of boston-university">Boston University, she received a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, Magna Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of the Arts in International Relations, Cum Laude. She has studied in Geneva, Switzerland, and traveled extensively through the Caribbean, North and Central America, Western Europe, North Africa, and South Asia.

Her past professional experience includes internships at the Office of the Governor, Deval Patrick of Massachusetts, the United Nations Association of Greater Boston, Al-Karama for Human Rights, SocialSphere, Inc. and The Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs. She is currently an intern for the Track II Mediation Unit at Search For Common Ground. Her research and writing experience is diverse, including both short and long style academic papers, professional briefs and memos, data analysis and monthly client reports, and graphics-intensive reports. She is familiar with MLA, Chicago, and APA style of citations from completing graduate level coursework requiring these citation styles, as well as basic publications editing.

She fully believes that everyone has a unique learning style and works with each student to develop the methods that work best for him or her. She believes that establishing a learning connection with each student and truly understanding how to motivate learning is key to a successful washington-dc">tutoring experience.
