One of my favorite hobbies is photography. I love taking candid photos and seeing life through the lens of my camera. In my down time, I love to blast my music and dance and sing around my apartment. Although my roommates look at me crazy, I make them join in with me.

About Me

I am a senior Marketing major at Howard University from Los Angeles, CA. I am currently take on the role as being one of the Alumni Chairs for the American Marketing Association, Howard Chapter. Upon graduation, I plan on going into the workforce for 2-3 years and going back to school to obtain my MBA.

During the summer after my sophomore year in college, I had the opportunity to washington-dc">tutor one of my younger cousins in his high school Algebra 2 class. I was able to help him raise his grade from a D to a B. After he got an A on one of his test, he informed his classmates, and I started to washington-dc">tutor some of his classmates as well. I was also able to help high school seniors with their college applications. Being able to work for Frog washington-dc">Tutoring will give me the opportunity to help students that want to be helped.

In high school, I often struggled in some of my classes and didn't know my true potential. During my sophomore year in high school, one of my teachers', who was very positive, challenging, and eager, helped me reach my full potential. As a washington-dc">tutor, I plan on bringing the same attitude to all of my students and to make sure they are comfortable to ask questions. I will guide them to ask questions to figure out the solution to the problem, instead of simply giving them the answer. In addition to teaching them the content, I plan on helping my students with their study skills. I know for me, repetition plays a big part when I study when it's done the right way.
