Fun Facts

I absolutely love playing my piccolo and flute and have enjoyed concert, marching and symphonic band since the third grade. I also love bowling, trying new places to eat and attending football games! I am a mother of one precious little boy and my favorite drink is Dr. Pepper.

About Me

I am a Social Science Education major at Alabama State University. I've been on the Dean's Lists three years in a row and I'm currently finishing my senior year, hoping to graduate in the Spring of 2021. I am a proud Mighty Marching Hornet at Alabama State, where I pledged Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority. I am also a member of the National Society of Leadership and the Student Alabama Education Association.

Experience

I have participated in community service since I was a young girl helping tutor students and prepping them for the next grade level. I am a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, the Student Education Association of Alabama and a proud member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority where we have a profound love and experience of helping children in schools as well. I've worked three jobs that give me customer service experience where I've remained humble and helpful.

Approach

I have not always loved or enjoyed school. I always wanted to take an easier route, or develop another style of learning that it fun, refreshing and quick! As a tutor, I will try my hardest to help with study skills, show different routes of learning, as well as breakdown every problem and find a solution. I will not only present new study skills, but I will show how to tackle a class that you might feel is tackling you!
