I have visited 49/50 of the states. I enjoy travel (obviously) and photography. I love sun and the water so I attempt to schedule beach time as much as possible.

About Me

I have been a Registered Nurse for 10 years and have spent 5 years in nursing education, assisting students in nursing theory and application to secure professional nursing licensure.

Experience

I have worked as a Registered Nurse in a variety of settings -- from critical care to public health as well as five years in nursing education -- as a nursing faculty member, faculty chair, program chair and dean of nursing. I have been successful in employing initiatives to create a 100% NCLEX pass rate for students pursuing their goal of becoming a professional nurse. I hold a masters in nursing education and am a doctorate candidate.

Approach

I believe that instruction begins with an overall assessment of the learner's learning style. Once this is determined, a plan can be put into place to engage the individual in content review and application of theoretical concepts.
