Fun Facts

One important fact about me is that I teach martial arts. This allows me patience and discipline to help any student grow in their schooling. I am the youngest of three and in love with exploring new places-that includes places for work, school, and personal enjoyment. Even though I am constantly on the go, I take time to help anyone who asks me. Someday soon, I hope to make it to Niagra Falls for winter photography.

About Me

I am a graduate student in Classical Archaeology at San Francisco State University. I teach Martial Arts, work with horses, babysit for a variety of families. I love working with kids almost as much as I love learning. Once I receive my Masters in Classics, I want to build my teaching career while going on archaeology digs and teaching martial arts.

Experience

I tutored in No Child Left Behind while I was getting my Bacholar's Degree. Most of my students were in Middle School or High School. I have been teaching Martial Arts for 8+ years. Working with Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to help children in another arena.

Approach

Even though today people call me a professional student, I wasn't always interested in learning. Growing up with dyslexia made certain areas of school uncomfortable, embarassing, and quite hard. The tools I have acquired over the years have helped me overcome that. I have learned that there are ways, if one is willing to learn them, to make school not only enjoyable, but smoother.
