I love baking! It's basically chemistry in the kitchen. On my free time, I spend time with friends by cruising our skateboards near the beach & going to tricking/parkour gyms. When I am alone, I love to make embroidery patches, draw, or water color paint. Aside from my passion with the arts, I could proudly call myself a nerd since I completed high school in 2 years!
About Me
Hello! My name is Jerrel. Currently, I am a Senior, Biochemistry Major at USC. I really enjoy math because it is an essential subject, and it plays a massive role to the real world. I strongly believe we do not have limits when it comes to knowledge. I love learning new things, and exploring the world! After completing undergraduate college, I wish to attend the USC School of Pharmacy. I believe it is my calling to serve ill humans via pharmaceutical treatment.
Experience
Anything involving math has always been interesting to me. I've passed almost all of my math courses with an A! I became a math tutor at El Camino College during my last year before transferring to a university. I will be able to tutor in all math levels up to Calculus 3. Since chemistry and physics incorporate math, I have a strong understanding of those subjects, so I'd be able to assist with those as well. I have had 3 years of Japanese language courses, and have a great sense of the arts.
Approach
If you find your teacher difficult by the way she/he teaches, there will always be a work-around from the struggle. I will gradually find a way for you to be able to understand a concept by working out problems, step-by-step, in detail. I do my best to adapt to one's pace and learning abilities in order to guarantee progress. As long as you put in the work, I can guarantee an increase in your knowledge!
