Fun Facts

I am interested in writing, art, intersectionality, political science, literature of MENA (Middle East/North Africa) and Latin America, foreign language, and social justice. I have volunteered and taught in Panama, Myanmar, Jordan and the United States and I love teaching and working with others. I speak four languages proficiently.

About Me

I am from Denver, CO and graduated from East High School the past spring. I am currently on a gap year and looking to attend UC riverside">Riverside the upcoming fall. I am looking to go to college for Islamic Studies or, alternatively, for art.

I have previously tutored English, writing, Spanish, as well as Arabic to a certain extent. I have never tutored as part of my employment, so as it is something I love to do, I look forward to it. I have tutored in Jordan, Myanmar, the United States, and Panama before. In Myanmar, I assisted in leading speech and debate workshops at the University of Mandalay. This summer, I will be volunteering with TCF in the beautiful city of Lahore, Pakistan.

I am passionate about denver">tutoring and I view mentoring as a powerful way of impacting others positively. My approach centers on utilizing different techniques as a way of creating a solid foundation and forming building blocks which students can improve their knowledge upon. I believe that everyone has different gifts and it is crucial to recognize those.
