Fun Facts

I absolutely LOVE baking. I bake muffins, cookies, quiches, cupcakes, you name it. I also enjoy running, reading, and relaxing. I have a puppy named Leo, who I love dearly, and he is a dorkie (a dachshund yorkshire terrier mix). I fell in love with the Spanish language after a trip in 2006 where I stayed with a host family in Michoacan for six weeks.

About Me

I am a senior at the University of New Mexico studying Secondary Bilingual Education. I have hopes for graduate school in Fall 2012 to receive a master's degree in Secondary Education and perhaps an endorsement in English as a Second Language and Math. I cannot wait to be on the other side of the class - teaching!
Most of my albuquerque">tutoring experiences have been informal for school projects and/or helping family and friends. I mostly albuquerque">tutor in Spanish to help students develop a second language. I have done this to not only boost grades, but also to train professionals to receive pay raises for bilingualism.
I am a very hands-on learner, therefore, I come with a lot of stuff to albuquerque">tutoring sessions. I have a fun style and look forward to students teaching themselves through my careful instruction. Being patient and caring is key to my albuquerque">tutoring so you will always be empowered.
