I am married and have two children. I am from Akron, Ohio but I have lived and worked in Bangkok, Thailand for 3 years. I enjoy martial arts, playing Chess, Basketball, and Skateboarding. I love to learn and share what I know, my intellectual interests are widespread, I enjoy everything from science and math to religion and the arts!

About Me

I currently work as a science teacher at CASTLE High main campus in Cleveland, Ohio. I teach 9th-12th grade Physical Science, Biology, and Environmental Science. I also work as a tutor at Silvan Learning Center in Fairlawn, Ohio. I live on 1.5 acres of land that I enjoy farming. I also run a lawn care and seasonal labor business called Mow Green.

Approach

I believe in teaching through activity and repetition. I try to set examples for students to follow which are applicable to multiple disciplines. I focus on the development of important 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, creativity, problem solving, and integrative techniques. As a tutor I try to support the student in taking ownership of their learning and look for ways to help them improve their thinking and tendencies.
