A Fun fact about myself is a job i once had that you wouldn't guess by looking at me. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant at retirement home for about a year and a half. With my major it is often shocking to some that i used to be a nurse who some would say was a "poop cleaner" (which is the biggest part of the job description) but that was my favorite job although it is unappealing to others

About Me

I am a super hardworking girl who has had two jobs since i was 16. I am a firm believer in hard work and starting now will only get me to where i need to be in the future: successful.

Experience

I am currently a academic coach/tutor for a program at TAMUCC for students who have an academic need and disability. My job requires a lot of patients when helping students understand and grasp concepts of their rigorous college courses. I love my job at school as i provide academic, financial, and mentoring for our students as well as help raising their GPAs.

Approach

My tutoring approach and technique is merely diminishing the students frustrations and explaining their homework and or projects to them in a way they can easily understand. TO obtain this, I approach the students with patients and numerous ways to solve the problems they are working on. I also diagnosis their current learning abilities so that way I am able to break down the barriers they have that prevents them from understanding the material.
