About Me

Currently attending TAMUCC, I am studying science/texas/corpus-christi">computer science, specializing in programming (Hopefully that won't change). I'm a Sophomore, As for organizations, I'm involved with the lacrosse team and the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. After school, I plan to enlist in the military here in the US, or go into Anti-Poaching.

I just had my first real dose of tutoring this semester. I tutored one of my friends in College Algebra, rising his grade from a D to a B in 2 tests. I also tutored one of my Fraternity Brothers in Trigonometry, solidifying his and my A in the course this most recent semester.

When I tutor, I typically first find out what they would like me to tutor them in. Once I have that, I quickly brush myself back up on the subject. For math, this would mean the discipline they would be learning (Quadratics, how to perform certain operations, ETC.). From there, I just break it down into simple steps. For English and essay critiquing, I read the entire paper first then reread a second time doing basic revisions. From there. I throw out my suggestions in certain areas and give different ideas of my own for the author to use.
