Fun Facts

I grew up playing soccer and was at one time in the local professional team academy (DC United). I also play Ultimate Frisbee on the college club team and occasionally practice juggling rings and pins! In my free time, I also like to play video games such as FIFA, Fortnite, and PubG.

About Me

I am a Sophomore at The College of William and Mary. Throughout my college experience, I have been on the dean's list and have had above a 3.7 GPA. I plan on being a CAMS major (Computational and Applied Mathematics and Statistics). I recently won the Annual Rocket pitch competition in the Raymond A. School of Business and will be featured in the Williamsburg Lifestyle Magazine. My dream is to start my own business.

Experience

In High school, I was appointed leader of my school's Business Club and Math Club. It was in these two intellectual hot spots I practiced daily helping fellow students solve problems. Recently, I have taken my love for helping others to Tribe Innovation, a student-run consultancy. For the last year, I have been a facilitator in training devoted to growing my problem-understanding and creative problem-solving.

Approach

My approach is to break down confusing processes into concepts that the students already understands. It is my belief that science and society are built on math, and all math is based on one function, addition. I will break down topics like calculus, economics, and Algebra in terms of these keystone operations. Once the student understands the real reasons behind equations like the quadratic formula and derivatives that we are just told in school, the understanding of the concept blooms.
