I cannot say enough about Ms. Rangel's tutoring of my daughter, Cristina. After explaining to Natasha about the problems Cristina had with reading & comprehension, Natasha has really engaged my unfocused child with her hands on approach and variety of teaching methods which holds Cristina's interest. I see a huge improvement in Cristina's reading, as well as her enthusiasm for reading!

She not only helped my daughter pass two summer college courses, she helped her to gain the confidence needed to do well in the courses. I am so grateful that my daughter had Pardis for her tutor. Pardis really went above and beyond in her tutoring. She gave so much of herself and put her life on hold by not going away on a trip just so she could stay and give my daughter the best possible chance of passing her classes. Pardis taught my daughter what it means to work hard and that you can reap the rewards, as well as instilling confidence in my daughter which will spill over into everyday life. I will forever appreciate all of the wonderful things Pardis did for my daughter. I hope everybody is as lucky as my daughter was to have Pardis as her tutor. Thank you Pardis! You are the best!!!

Martine has really helped my daughter build her confidence and understanding of math. In three months' time they have reviewed algebra, algebra 1 and geometry and my daughter has made significant progress. The most important thing about Martine's approach is that she stresses helping the student to gain an understanding of the fundamental rules in each math area, helping to demystify math and breaking things down in such a way that the student can gains a more confident grasp of the basic building blocks she needs to work with. I highly recommend Martine as an excellent and effective math tutor.

Susan Gurney is an outstanding economics tutor. Her understanding of college level instruction is shaped by the fact that she has taught at the college level. This makes her a great college tutor. From the very beginning she worked on basic algorithms as the central building blocks for Macroeconomics problem solving. She was able to explain the missing pieces that were oversimplified in the book and in this way made understanding the problem solving easier. She goes over each problem in detail and is still able to move through a large body of information at a rapid pace without sacrificing in depth understanding. I will sign up for many more sessions with Susan Gurney in order to prepare for economics in the Fall semester.

My son thinks Jonathon has been the best he really likes him and actually can't wait until the next session. My hope is that with Jonathon's help my son Andru will not have the same issues in 8th grade as he did in 7th.

Tori was great with my 6 year old. She really helped him improve with his reading.

We are so impressed with Victoria and her teaching skills. Not only is she wonderful with relaying concepts and strategies for learning, but she was able to very quickly discern our daughter's learning style and what methods might work best for her and implement them. We feel very lucky to have found her and look forward to working with her this summer.

Armin has been wonderful with my daughter in math. She is very much enjoying the tutoring sessions and actually is looking forward to working on more math! He is very polite and even though is well beyond where my daughter is in math is very skilled in teaching pre-algebra and more basic math. We feel very lucky to have been given such a wonderful teacher!

Cathy was a perfect match for my son. Her knowledge of all subjects was phenomenal. She was able to explain concepts to my son on his level so that he grasped the concepts. She explained these concepts in a way that was not over his head and then worked with him until he got it right. She worked with my son on his organizational skills from his messy back pack to his unorganized binder. I would strongly recommend Cathy as a tutor and if the need arises in the future, I will surely request her. Thank you Cathy!

Leroy is a positive, friendly and helpful tutor. He willingly explains difficult concepts again if I am ever unsure. He is also dynamic in how he wants me to practice problems for future sessions.
