Fun Facts

I have always enjoyed sports, and currently my favorites are tennis and ultimate frisbee, I am also an avid reader. Something that people may not know about me is that I lived in France for six months, and had my fourth birthday there!

About Me

I will be a sophomore Electrical Engineering major, though I plan to take science/colorado/denver">Computer Science and Acturial Science classes. I was on the Dean's List my first semester with a GPA of 3.83, and hope to continue that trend. My ongoing goal is to put forth my best effort, not only in college, but in whatever career I choose to pursue.

Though I have never tutored in an official manner, I have a lot of unofficial, one on one denver">tutoring experience. Throughout my high school and now college career, I informally tutored my friends and classmates in almost every math and science course I have taken. I did this because I have always enjoyed doing so. Most of the enjoyment came from seeing my peers improve as well as hearing them tell me that I played a role in their success. As an added benefit, I found that my own knowledge of the topics increased as well.

Growing up with a father who is a college professor, I have always been taught with questions. My dad would always answer my queries by asking my related questions until I found that I had an answer to my original question, and I had usually picked up some other related knowledge along the way. This is the approach I try to bring to denver">tutoring, attempting to let those who I am helping realize that more often than not, they know the answers to their own questions.
