Fun Facts
I was always the nerd in my family. I love analyzing and deconstructing things to their fundamentals to then see what's possible. It's I gravitated to math and science. As a kid, and even now, I watched videos or read articles on the latest discoveries and mathematical proofs. I just love learning and gaining a deeper understanding of the world around me.
About Me
I graduated from the Honors Program at Miami Dade College with a 3.7 GPA in Mathematics in 2017. I plan on attending Florida International University with a major In Mathematics with a Physics track. I want to apply what I learn to further the of mathematics and in turn the field of physics. While at Dade I was on the academic team and we won the Regional Championship and I had the most points on the team. I love working with others to find the heart of a problem and figure out a solution.
Experience
In my high school I was usually the one helping my friend and peers whenever they struggled in class. I would also stay behind whenever my chemistry, biology, physics or calculus teacher held tutoring sessions to help out. In college I was required to do Service Learning and I went back to high school in a more professional manner as a volunteer to again help my calculus teacher. I am definitely more focused on math and science.
Approach
Everyone has a certain way of learning or seeing and different abilities so I take that into account with whoever I'm tutoring. I first make sure that they are in a comfortable environment where they are not afraid to ask questions or make mistakes. In general I want to fill the student with the same sense of wonder and awe I felt while learning science and math.

I actually used my Advanced Placement test which I got a 4 out of a maximum of 5 as credit so I didn't have to take this class in college. I got an A when I took the Advanced Placement class in high school. I received a Science Award during my time in the class for my performance.
Calculus I Tutoring
I got a 5 on the Advanced Placement test in high school. I also took the class again in college and got a perfect A more than 100% each test.While I have tutored my friends and peers when they asked for help, I also did volunteer at my high school to tutor my old Calculus teacher's students.
Calculus 2 Tutoring
I got a 5 on the Advanced Placement test in high school. I also took the class again in college and got a perfect A more than 100% each test.While I have tutored my friends and peers when they asked for help, I also did volunteer at my high school to tutor my old Calculus teacher's students.
Calculus 3 Tutoring
In college I received over 100% in the class. I also assisted my friends and peers during and after I took the class. I have a degree in mathematics so I have a deep interest in these concepts.
Chemistry I Tutoring
I took both the Advanced Placement class and college course. I received an A both times and got a 4 in the AP test. I have tutored high school students and have assisted college students as well.
Chemistry II Tutoring
Received an A in the class. This class was essentially the second half of the Advanced Placement class I have mostly assisted mostly college students and some high school.
College Algebra Tutoring
I have a degree in mathematics so Algebra is one the first things I had to master. Finished Algebra in high school with an A. I have tutored college students before.
Elementary Statistics Tutoring
Received an A in the class. I have tutored college students before. I have a degree in mathematics so I have experience with the class.
Math Tutoring
I completed my degree in Mathematics so I have good grasp of different kinds of math. I have completed courses ranging from discrete mathematics to differential equations. I have received an A in all of them. I have tutored from high school to college students.
Physics I Tutoring
I took both the college course and Advanced Placement class in high school. I received an A in both. I have tutored both high school and college. I also have a personal interest in physics so I enjoy tutoring it.
Physics II Tutoring
Tutored my peers while taking the class and afterwards. Many of the equations and concepts in this class are very similar to those found in Physics I. Even though I have degree in Mathematics, physics was my next choice so I also have a solid foundation in these classes.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I have a degree in mathematics and I have taken all the classes necessary and more to understand Pre Calculus. I have tutored college students and high school students.
Trigonometry Tutoring
My degree is in mathematics.I took the class in dual enrollment in high school and received an A. Furthermore many of the ideas and concepts in Trigonometry are carried into calculus and physics. I have tutored both college and high school students.
Geometry Tutoring
I have degree in Mathematics. I also received an A in the class. While in high school I also received a Math award. I have tutored high school students.
