Homework Coach Tutoring

I have been teaching and tutoring for over 9 years. I have been using coaching and SMART goal setting with my students to set realistic goals. I earned a certificate for life coaching and have incorporated the strategies I learned in face to face and online sessions with students. I emphasize making homework plans that students can commit to and see slow progress towards bigger goals.

I took the ASVAB and scored in the 80th percentile range. I know what content is and the best strategies for studying for the test. I focus on the 4 core sections that make up the composite score and help students identify other areas that can help their overall scores on the additional sections.

Praxis Tutoring

I help my students in my high school to take and pass the Praxis if they are applying to specific colleges. I tutor all sections of the Praxis for students. I have a firm command of the math and verbal requirements for the Praxis and the general content knowledge needed to pass each section.
