Fun Facts

I have lived in over 4 countries in my life and never stayed in 1 place for more than 5 years. In my spare time, I love to play basketball and volleyball as well as play the saxophone.

About Me

I am a rising third year Mechanical Engineer with senior standing at Georgia Tech, and I hope to graduate next year. I am also pursuing an economics minor. My GPA is a 3.49. In the future, I hope to be able to go to graduate school and maybe go in to research.

Starting as a senior in high school, I tutored family friends, even designing my own full algebra 2 curriculum in order to teach a student. When I went into college, as a rising sophomore, I became a school sponsored atlanta">tutor for a mechanical engineering course about numerical methods. I did this for two continuous semesters and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of helping people realize their own academic potential. I later decided on expanding my atlanta">tutoring horizons by trying to atlanta">tutor non college students. This is what lead me to FrogTutoring.

During my own experience as a student I have had great teachers and terrible teachers. One thing that I realized that all great teachers do is to make sure not to immediately give away answers, but instead to give students the opportunity to find the answers themselves and only helping when necessary. It is easy for teachers to simply think that certain problems are too trivial for them to go through step by step. However, what separates the great teachers is the ability to work through a problem slowly and coaxing the student to find the right answer instead of merely giving away answers. My atlanta">tutoring approach revolves around this mindset of never giving away the answer, but instead to guide the student to find their own answers.
