Fun Facts
A fun fact about myself is that I love to model in my spare time. I love to strut my long legs down a runway as well as create beautiful art at photo shoots. Since I had low self-esteem when I was younger, modeling helped me to overcome that fear I had. Though I don't think I would be America's Next Top Model, I know the confidence I gained from doing it has been tremendous.
About Me
I am a graduate of Georgia State University where I received my Bachelors in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics. I have recently been accepted into kennesaw-state-university">Kennesaw State University where I plan to obtain a Masters in Applied Statistics. My dream job would be to ESPN's next great sports statistician.
Experience
For the past year, I have been a Mathematics atlanta">tutor for students in Pre-K to graduating high school seniors. I never thought I would be good at teaching but seeing my students go from hating math to saying it wasn't as hard as they thought it was really brings me joy. People have often given me crazy looks when they hear that I got my degree in Math but my love for numbers led me down this path and I couldn't be happier.
Approach
Since my love for numbers started at a young age, I have found small "tricks" to help get to a mathematical solution quicker over the years. Usually in math, there are patterns that you can find depending on the subject. After my first session with a student, I can show them ways to achieve a correct solution without stressing and/or wasting valuable time.

Since high school can be tough for most students, I am a tutor that can use whatever they are interested in and apply it to the lesson. I find it helps most students in high school learn better when the material is delivered in a manner they can relate to.

Middle school math consists of mostly fractions, factoring algebraic expressions, and extension of multiplication. While I was in middle school, I remained on the Principal's List all three years especially in Math. I am strongly confident that I would be able to assist with any student struggling with math.

I have tutored several students at this level. I have been able to help students with things from addition/subtraction to counting money to their multiplication tables. I can help them by teaching small "tricks" that can help accelerate achieving the solution to any problem.
