I am a very energetic person, I like to read a lot specially stories and books wrote by Spanish authors such as Pablo Neruda and Jorge Luis Borges. I was raised in Massachusetts and moved to New Mexico 8 years ago and continued my education here.
I worked the past spring semester teaching at Tony Hillerman Middle School. I taught Spanish I to 7th and 8th graders, with great result. Many of my students were able to achieve a high level of the Spanish language.
In the past I have approached my students with different ways of teaching. I found out that the best way to teach a new language is to always speak it. Which is my main strategy to teach students, speaking with me as much as they can. That way they understand the spoken language first then we get into grammar to reinforce their formal speaking skills. Many of my students enjoyed my teaching because they learned a lot from me, specially speaking Spanish which is most important.
