Fun Facts

My hobbies include doing things with my kids and my dog, Spikey. I live near the beach, so going to the bayfront is always a tension reliever and I suggest everyone do it once in a while. I studied Art for many years in college and I have found that you can immerse yourself in art to help ease the pressures of life. Art history was a very enjoyable subject for me and I believe everything in life leads back to it. I love to be around the youth of today. I have found through my past tutoring

About Me

My tutoring approach is to be hands-on, ask lots of questions, and form a personal and comfortable bond with my students. My clients in the past have remained friends with me through the social media to this day, which proves that I am a likable tutor. I like for my clients to know that there is no such thing as a stupid question. Asking questions and being inquisitive is how we learn. Students that are struggling need a mentor figure in their lives and it is my job to fill that role.

Experience

My past tutoring experiences have been very positive ones. I have worked with at-risk and low-income students and have found that they are the most humble and easy to get along with. I have found that just being myself usually gets the job done. I don't like to just "give the answers", I like to help the client form their own solution. Encouragement is what works for me and the client, and sometimes a little "hint" here and there usually gets the correct response.

Approach

My ultimate goals and aspirations are to form long lasting bonds with my clients, and if not that, then to at least make a difference in their study habits and in their lives. I was a young struggling student once and if I had a mentor figure in my life while in high school I may have been able to graduate with honors. I believe anything is possible if you put your heart and soul into it and that is what my job entails at Frog Tutoring.
