Fun Facts

I really love to read, write and photography, especially sports photography. I love going to my little brothers and cousins soccer games to watch and take pictures. I grew up in Germany but I cannot speak German. I am a very adaptable person who loves to be active but also loves to sit down and watch a good movie. One time I went camping in Colorado for a youth retreat and we went hiking, participated in high rope courses and went repealing off a 60ft cliff, needless to say I love camping.

About Me

I am the second oldest of eight kids. I was home schooled my entire life until I reached college. I currently help my parents with homeschooling the other kids. I adore my siblings and I enjoy teaching them. I coach and participated in speech and debate in high school for 4 years including going to nationals 3 years in a row. My tutoring approach is that all students are different and that teachers should not force them to learn all the same way. I think that if teachers expect all students to learn the same then they are setting that student up for failure, because each child is different. I believe that all students can learn a concept but whether they learn that concept depends on how it is being taught. The students lead the learning not the teacher or the tutor. If I see that a student does not understand a specific concept I change my teaching approach until they understand. If the students sees that a person of authority is listening to them and genuinely cares about them then that student will be a
