Fun Facts

I am the youngest of three brothers. I love reading and taking long walks. I could potentially run a 3.5-star restaurant. I lived in Italy for two years when I was young; hence, my kitchen prowess. I love playing soccer and watching boxing. I don't keep up with either basketball or football but I make time to watch the Super Bowl and the NBA finals. I love watching movies. I write poetry in my free time. I am currently trying to master Python programming.

About Me

I am a recent graduate with a master's in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. I won the Bill & Melinda Gates Millennium Scholarship (approximately $500,000) which covers full tuition up to Ph.D. I was on the Dean's List for three consecutive years. Additionally, I won the OZY Media Genius Award in 2015 to work on high-temperature superconductors. I currently work as a Software Engineering Data Scientist at JP Morgan Chase. What can I say, I love Math and Science.

Experience

I tutored ACT, SAT, and revised college admission essays for two years after my high school graduation. My high school math team advanced to the national level. I've been teaching/tutoring math since high school days. I attribute a great deal of my success in college to my skill and love for math.

Approach

In elementary school, I struggled with math and writing so they took a primary focus in my studies. Thankfully, I had some of the best teachers at my school for math and writing. My teachers were very patient with me and even enjoyed helping me out. They encouraged me to be persistent and to keep practicing. In math, I was told to read sections and to make sure I understood concepts before attempting questions. Over the years, I have realized that I, like my teachers, also enjoy teaching math.
