I love the outdoors, hiking and camping. I'm a mum to a baby boy and when I'm not teaching I'm enjoying my time with him.

About Me

I was educated in England, where I attended the University of birmingham">Birmingham where I got my BSc and PhD. I am currently teaching undergraduate Biology at American University during the semester but have the Summers off.

I've taught physiology and biology at university level to majors and non-majors for the last 5 years.

My goal is the encourage my students to enjoy their subject and to teach them the lifelong skills needed to ask the right questions and guide them to find the solutions.
I love science and I try to let my enthusiasm and interest rub off on my students!
