I really do Love learning is sounds so silly, but I am always looking for different ways to teach. I spend my free time looking up new lessons and getting ideas off of Pinterest and other sites. I am always trying to better myself in that way. I am also an animal lover. My husband and I live on a acre in Los Lunas and have two horses and four dogs.

About Me

I am a senior at the University of New Mexico and have been studying my passion Elementary Education. I am highly qualified in Language Arts and Science and love them both. I have been on the Dean's list the past two years at UNM and was on the Dean's list while I attended New Mexico State University. I will be graduating in May and hope to teach elementary school in Albuquerque.

I have been in the classroom for the past two years as a student teacher where I not only taught the entire class, but I also taught small group and one on one with students. Before that I worked at an after school program where the first hour was homework help. I hope I can continue to have a positive educational impact on the students I come across.

As a student I have definitely had my struggles in the classroom. This is something that I use when albuquerque">tutoring. I know that not everyone learns the same way at the same pace. I have taken may classes to aid me with this a believe in breaking everything down into understandable chunks for students. I believe all students can and will put forth my best effort to help them. I believe in setting attainable goals and will help the students reach them.
