I am very passionate about dance! I've been dancing ever since I could walk, and I am currently on The Ohio State University's Raas Team, which is a form of energetic traditional Indian dance.

About Me

I currently attend The Ohio State University in their Honors Program, and am majoring in Biomedical Sciences, with hopes of one day being a physician. I tutored kids all through high school at various age levels, and I have come to cherish the moment they finally understand a concept that they have been struggling with in school. Knowing that I have made a difference in their thought process by motivating them and catering my teaching to their learning style is such a gratifying feeling!

Experience

I privately tutored students all throughout high school, and as Subgroup Leader of the Strongsville Youth Commission, I attended weekly tutoring sessions at Strongsville Middle School my senior year of high school. In college, I have joined an organization called College Mentors for Kids, where each college student is paired with a buddy in elementary school, and we help them throughout their academic journey and teach them the importance of education.

Approach

As a child, math came very easily to me. But as I grew up and began taking more challenging math classes, I found myself struggling to learn why the mathematical concepts made sense. In tenth grade, my honors precalculus math teacher persistently encouraged me until I realized that math is an art form. I hope to take this motivation and view of math to my tutoring sessions. I want to ensure that my students understand why the math works and how the numbers flow together into a solution!
