I am a frustrated stand-up comedian. As a child I wanted to be Richard Pryor. I used to do his skits, and jokes. Around 15 yo I realized that I wasn't quite that funny. I continue to use humor to lubricate my interactions. i try to instill levity into every situation. I enjoy making people laugh and smile. I try to make learning fun. It makes the day go faster.

About Me

I am a retired Physician looking for an opportunity to share my love of math and the sciences. I tutored in High School and College. Math is like a long journey. It is a long road, if any of the bridges are out, it is difficult to complete the journey. My task is to identify those bridges, rebuild them allowing the student to have a successful and enjoyable experience!

Experience

I tutored in High School and College. I can usually tutor a student up 2-3 letter grades. I additionally tutored my classmates in Medical School.

Approach

Initially I evaluate a student to determine their level of proficiency; repair the gaps in their fundamentals, improving their knowledge base. I stress mental math, performing addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in their heads.
