I recently relocated to Syracuse, New York from Bernardsville, New Jersey, with my husband and very large dog. I began this journey when my own four children were in high school. They have all successfully graduated from college! I enjoy reading, playing tennis and sailing with the dog.

About Me

I received my BA in English from Yale University and my MBA in Marketing/Finance from Columbia University. I have worked in the corporate world, co-founded a women’s networking group and now provide consulting services to early-stage entrepreneurs in Newark, New Jersey in addition to tutoring.

Experience

I has been tutoring students for over six years for verbal SAT/ACT, SSAT and ISEE prep. My passion is helping high school and grad students navigate their journeys, through test prep, counseling and support on their applications and essays.

Approach

I believe that each student I work with has the potential to achieve greatness. I work with each student to understand his/her learning styles and then adapt my teaching style to fit his/her needs. Though I always see great progress on the college prep (ACT and SAT), I really enjoy working with students on their college and grad school essays. I find that students really share their passion when they write these-but it takes some coaxing to let their unique personalities shine.
