Fun Facts
I am very passionate about language learning. While I was taking Spanish in 7th grade, I taught myself French 1 so I could advance into French 2 in 8th grade. My love for language has blossomed over the years. In fact, I just came back from studying abroad for a semester in Paris, France and I plan on studying abraod again my senior year in Madrid, Spain.
About Me
I am a Junior at DePaul University. I am double majoring in French and Spanish and minoring in Italian. I have been on the Dean's List for every quarter/trimester ever since my freshman year. With my language abilities, I wish to teach foreign languages at the high school level either in Europe, North America, or where ever life takes me.
I have tutored French and Spanish to struggling students throughout my career as a high school student. My senior year of high school I even interned with my French teacher and learned the life of a French teacher. I prepared lesson plans, made powerpoint presentations about grammar lessons and sometimes taught the lessons.
Throughout my career as a foreign language student, I have noticed that many students struggle with grammar concepts. I happen to love grammar and I have found many ways to teach it to other students in my classes so that they will be able to understand it. In addition to grammar, I hope to teach students thow to make learning a foreign language fun, as well as the benefits of learning a foreign language, and perhaps even inspire them to study a foreign language in the future.
