Fun Facts

I love working with teens and young adults. I am originally from St.Petersburg, Russia. I have been living in the US for 21 years. I have been tutoring math for all ages and teaching math at university for more than a decade. I use zoom and my iPad with cool apps to teach math online. I also love to go to gym, do yoga, grow flowers. I am a pretty good artist (watercolors).

About Me

I teach math subjects at two universities as a part time math instructor. I have extra time to tutor high school students and college students who need help with their math subjects. I have earned Master's degree in mechanical engineering, but I love math so much that I became a teacher and a math tutor later.

Experience

I have been tutoring high school students for 15 years and teaching at college level for 8 years. I like to work with students who are motivated to do well in math. I also like to prepare students for the upcoming school year during summer.

Approach

I am very good at encouraging and motivating students who are not very confident with math subject. I also like to work with gifted students because I can teach math skills beyond basics when I recognize student's potential. I believe that challenging and reassuring my students leads to their constant improvement. I love to see how my students change, becoming more and more confident about math as time goes by!
