Fun Facts

One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love to cook and bake! Any time I have a chance, you will find me at a new restaurant or having take out/food delivery trying new cuisines. Also, I enjoy writing poetry and stories. Someday soon, I hope to publish my writings.

About Me

I am a senior English major and creative writing minor at Northeastern Illinois University. I've been on the Dean's List for the past year! When I graduate in December 2020, I hope to attend graduate school to earn my Masters in Library and Information Science, then a PhD in Information Science. My ultimate goal is to become a Professor and library worker in the IT department.

Experience

I have experiences in tutoring English/writing to K-12 and college students locally and abroad virtually for about three years.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult. Throughout my years I was fortunate enough to have teachers who helped me realize my true potential in my academics then eventually my career. As a tutor, my goal is to bring this positive attitude into all of my sessions.
