Fun Facts
Some of my passions people quickly learn about me include reading, painting, music, and doing yoga! On the weekends I love to hang out with friends and family and to also visit the local art Museums in San Diego. Any chance I get, you will find me reading a good book or learning about artists that inspire me.
About Me
I am a senior English major at San Diego State University. My current GPA is 3.19 and I am also minoring in Art History. When I graduate, I hope to work in a library and get my Masters in Library Arts Sciences. My ultimate goal is to become a librarian or work in an art museum.
As a teacher’s aide in an ESL class, I had the opportunity to tutor students on a weekly basis in English and writing during my senior year of high school. Upon entering college, I was eager to begin working with students again, and volunteered my time helping children at Marvin Elementary School in my mother’s third grade classroom. I am really looking forward to the opportunity to work for Frog Tutors so that I can have a positive impact on student’s lives and their academic careers!
Growing up I struggled a lot in school with math and science but I always gravitated towards English and the arts. Over the years I have had many inspiring teachers and mentors who have aided me in pursuing my passion for English and Literature and I hope that I could do the same for other students who are struggling or feeling discouraged. As a tutor I wish to bring this attitude to all of my students and inspire them to reach their highest potential. I feel it is my duty to guide students in the right direction and help them discover their infinite and boundless potential!
