Basically, I am a Chinese nerd having passion in animation. Love marvel heroes. I also read Japanese manga. These things make me a dreamer, and Tony Stark encourages me to pursue engineering.I like listening to music, especially those of Jay Chou.I want to learn how to shoot an arrow, however never had the chance to do that. I wish I could see the whole United States before I go back home.

About Me

I am currently a graduate student of University of Southern California, majoring in Electrical Engineering. My current GPA is 3.85 and my undergraduate GPA is about 3.5. I hope I could be a Power Electronics Engineer in the future.

I have no official experience in tutoring, but back in high school in China, i am a learning adviser, whose responsibility is nearly the same as teaching assistance. I helped my classmates understand the classes and also solve the problems in homework.

For students at different levels, different approach should be adopted. Generally, learning should be started from the basic concepts, so reading the book and simple examples are necessary. Then in order to enhance the concept, several practices should be done. However, sometimes the most efficient way is to answer the student's question while finishing their homework. However, the most important thing is that students must have the will to learn, which is also my responsibility as a tutor. My ultimate goal is that my students do not need me any more.
