About Me

I am a retired high school history teacher. I taught at Flour Bluff High school. I like to share the love of history with all.

Experience

I love teaching and sharing my love of history with students. I began my career in Education through education/texas/corpus-christi">Special Education and this has helped me to see that all students can learn. It is just a matter of providing the right amount of support. I try to approach teaching students of any level from that point of view. Frog tutoring gives me the chance to continue to share this love with a whole new generation.

Approach

I am well aware that history is not everyone's favorite subject. I try to help students to make personal connections to events in the past to help them seen how this has affected them. As a tutor, I try not only to help learn the content but enhance their study skills for subjects. In any case, I try to build a rapport with the student to help them reach their goals.
