I play myself and organize leagues whenever is possible as one can say it is a passion of mine. Love being outdoors and exploring beaches, mountains even new cities. very easy going and like to connect and learn about other people.

About Me

I am a mechanical engineer/designer at siemens specialized in Low voltage mechanical assemblies. I graduated from CUNY City College of New York with a bachelor's of engineering in mechanical engineering and minor in applied mathematics. I have 4+ years of experience in the mechanical engineering field.

Experience

As for my tutoring experience, I have worked at CUNY college of Staten island for 3 years as a STEM tutor. I served as in class tutor for students who didn't pass the assessment exam and helped focus on their weaknesses to help them pass. I worked closely with the instructor to identify each students weakness and area of improvement. I also tutored individuals and groups in math and physics. similarly I worked for the math department at the city college of new york primarily tutoring math.

Approach

My approach is to always understand the basics for any subjects you are trying to learn. I always like to start with the theory or the prove. The understanding of the fundamentals is crucial in problem solving and this is based on my experience as a tutor, student and in professional life. I always encourage and help students and never make them feel discouraged from the subject. I have no problem repeating the idea until it is 100% clear and understood by the student.
