Fun Facts
I love creative writing! I'm also a huge animal lover and enjoy taking long walks with my dog on the weekends. When I'm not studying for exams, I'm usually reading a novel or watching medical TV shows.
About Me
I just graduated from Johns Hopkins University with degrees in neuroscience and French. I'm a current medical student at Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine. I'm from the Philadelphia area and hoping to pursue pediatrics. I'm passionate about teaching and planning to integrate it into my future academic career.
Experience
I did some volunteer work tutoring in science while I was in high school. I was also a teaching assistant in the Johns Hopkins Department of Chemistry as an undergrad. I have plenty of experience with homework help gained through volunteer work with elementary and middle school aged children in Baltimore. I'm truly passionate about working with students and helping them reach their potential!
Approach
I understand that each student may have a different learning style, and I will do my best to adapt my teaching to each of them. I'm very patient and willing to work with all levels of knowledge. I aim to help students do well in school, but, for me, the most important part of tutoring is instilling a love of learning that will last a lifetime. I look forward to helping each student achieve his or her goals!
