Cooking is my passion I am a big foodie. I love eating and trying to cook new recipes from all types of cuisines. My wife loves the food but hates the mess I leave behind. Another hobby I have is anime. I have been watching since childhood and I can't count how many I have seen but I'm pretty sure it's a lot.

About Me

I work as a Product Manager full time but I love to volunteer and tutor in my spare time. One of my goals is to start a non-for-profit dedicated to introducing students to various careers from Software engineers to HVAC repair. After they learn about the career I will relate the skills of that profession back to the key skills in the classroom they need to be good at to be successful in that career.

Experience

I have been a tutor part-time for the past 4 years. I tutored students weekly in Math and science/ohio/cleveland">computer science from all grade levels. I love being able to see a student transition into mastery of a particular topic. Here's a couple of reviews from my clients:

Approach

Meet the student where they are and get them to where they should be. I've worked with students all across the board and as a tutor, I think it's important to adjust your teaching to the student's needs. Some students need more examples, others need a challenge. Learning where my student is at and working at their pace has been the most consistent way to get my students results.
