My passions include making music with my ukulele and running in my spare time. I am the middle child of my family but have always found a way to help everyone around me. I hope to someday be a very helpful and inspirational educator!

About Me

I am an alumni from the California State University of San Bernardino and have graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Music, Art, and Theater for Teachers. I am currently pursuing a career in Elementary Education as a General Music Teacher.

Experience

My experience includes working for multiple after-school programs as well as summer school programs, which involved 4-6 hours of interaction and instruction for K-6th grade. I was able to teach students how to read sheet music and play the keyboard, as well as teaching students how to play beginner percussion. I was also in charge of 15-30 students at a time and made sure they all were able to understand and complete their homework. I also have been a substitute teacher for grades K-8th grade.

Approach

My experience in elementary through high school was very unpleasant since I was not given the necessary instruction needed, and now that I have grown to see what I have lacked, I can confidently aim to help current students reach their full potential.
