I am passionate about personal growth and improvement. I enjoy bettering both my mind and body. I thoroughly enjoy running and weight lifting to train for obstacle course races. I am also an avid reader and consume articles and books daily. I am always trying to learn the next new thing and expand my knowledge in anyway possible.

About Me

I am a senior and the University of Massachusetts Boston majoring in economics and have maintained a GPA of 3.925 since entering the University. Prior to entering the University of Massachusetts Boston I graduated from Quincy College Summa Cum Laude with a business transfer major and membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. I have done all this while working 25-40 hours per week as a marketing representative for Costco Wholesale. I take great pride in excelling as both an employee and a student. Upon graduation from the University I plan to begin a career in financial management with the long-term goal of entering politics.

Although I have no paid boston">tutoring experience, I have tutored many of my classmates in subjects ranging from statistics and applied mathematics to history and literature. While boston">tutoring my classmates I found that I really enjoy helping them to succeed and having the opportunity to watch them improve. For that reason I am looking forward to helping students achieve academic success by boston">tutoring in a more professional capacity.

When I first went to college as an eighteen year old I did very poorly. That was not because I was not smart enough to do well but because I did not want to learn or understand its value so I never put in the effort. I did not return to school until I understood the value of knowledge. Upon returning to school at Quincy College I had a new thirst for knowledge and began treating school as an opportunity to learn new and exciting things, not a hurdle that had to be jumped. It is that thirst for knowledge that I strive to inspire in every student and classmate with whom I have the opportunity to work. By viewing education as the opportunity to better yourself through knowledge, the effort comes naturally and the grades will follow.
