Fun Facts

I love literature from novels to science essays because the world is so full of depths I have yet to grasp. Learning to me is one of the greatest joys in life, especially with regards to new perspectives. To me, even ideas that seem completely irrelevant to my core interests at first have the potential to mold and shape me in ways I could not expect.

About Me

I am a new Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (awaiting delivery of my diploma due to COVID), and I intend to attend graduate school after getting a year or two of work experience in. Beside my scientific interests, I am a working artist who loves to draw large scale science fiction landscapes and alien figures. I want to become a sort of renaissance man ultimately but, in terms of engineering I want to make the air industry more sustainable.

Experience

I have never professionally tutored but, as an newly minted engineer, I have contributed to countless intense study sessions. I am generally good at internalizing abstract materials and many of my friends, even graduate students have depended on me to answer class questions and clarify difficult subject matter.

Approach

My approach to communicating complex subjects to others, both when helping classmates and in navigating issues with others in my day to day life is to ask questions about how the other person is thinking. I think that the best way to help others is to understand how they view their problems because then you can pinpoint where the trouble starts. I try not to assume what the trouble is but to ask questions that guide those who need help to recognition of my solution or their own.
